An authentic journey for those who wish to discover the green soul of the Aeolian Islands
Salina is the island of contrasts and sweetness — where lush vineyards meet the deep blue sea, and ancient lava flows give way to secluded beaches. A boat tour around the entire island is the most fascinating way to discover its essence: the variety of landscapes, the volcanic history, and the understated elegance of its coastal villages.
This private tour departs directly from Salina. Guests staying in Lipari or Vulcano can easily reach the island by hydrofoil, making it the perfect opportunity to combine the cruise with a stroll or lunch on land.

An itinerary of wild landscapes and charming villages
We begin our journey from Santa Marina, heading southeast along the gentle coast where low white houses face the sea, and the Lingua lighthouse marks our departure. Just ahead, Punta Lingua emerges — the island’s easternmost point and gateway to Salina’s most unspoilt shoreline.
Sailing southwest, we reach the rugged and dramatic Punta Grottazza, followed by the striking Punta delle Tre Pietre, where three large sea stacks stand like silent guardians. The water here is crystal-clear — perfect for an early swim in peaceful silence.
Rounding the southern tip, we arrive at the small village of Rinella, with its dark sandy beach and colourful fishing boats. It’s a place that feels timeless, authentic.
A little further on lies one of the most breathtaking sites in the Aeolian archipelago: Pollara, formed by the remnants of a semi-submerged volcanic caldera. Its towering cliffs drop straight into the sea, the light shifting from golden to amber throughout the day. It’s a powerful and poetic place, beloved by filmmakers and dreamers alike.
Nearby, the majestic Arco Perciato appears — a lava stone arch that gracefully frames the sea and sky. It’s a natural masterpiece that invites pause and admiration.
As we continue north, the landscape softens. The village of Malfa comes into view, nestled among vineyards and prickly pear. Elegant and discreet, it’s the ideal stop for a walk or a moment on land, if desired.
Soon after, we sail past Capofaro, where white cliffs are crowned by a lighthouse and rows of Malvasia vines slope gently toward the water — one of Salina’s most scenic panoramas.
We return to Santa Marina, closing the circle of this enchanting journey — a day filled with beauty, silence and the timeless rhythm of Salina’s sea.
