A journey between volcanic cliffs, Mediterranean charm and two unique islands
A day of exploration among secret coves, obsidian cliffs and vineyards that plunge into the sea.
Salina welcomes you with its gentle, green soul and peaceful villages, while Lipari reveals dramatic contrasts—between white pumice and black lava, rugged cliffs and silent beaches. Aboard our traditional wooden boat, this private tour is designed for those who wish to discover more than one island in a single, unforgettable day. A relaxed navigation, intimate and scenic, through landscapes that are both ancient and alive. |
Itinerary
The tour can begin from Lipari, Vulcano, or Salina, depending on where you are staying.
Each itinerary is shaped around your preferences and the direction of the wind.
If departing from Lipari or Vulcano, the day begins with a gentle cruise along the southern coast, passing the majestic Faraglioni and the crystal-clear waters of Praia Vinci—a small cove nestled between volcanic rocks, perfect for a first swim.
Next, we approach the wild beauty of Valle Muria, framed by cliffs of copper and obsidian. One of Lipari’s most iconic beaches, it's reachable only by sea or a long footpath. Here, silence is absolute.
Continuing on, the coastline becomes more rugged: Grotticelle, Cala Fico, and the romantic Grotta degli Innamorati, known for its water that glows with almost surreal phosphorescent tones. Legend has it that those who kiss here remain united forever.
After passing the Torricelle, we leave Lipari behind and head towards Salina. The scenery changes—lush green slopes and gentle volcanic peaks rise on the horizon. We pause for a swim beneath towering lava cliffs, sculpted by ancient black magma flows.
Sailing along the eastern side of Salina, we spot the white Lingua lighthouse, standing guard over low, pastel-colored houses. Soon we reach Santa Marina di Salina, the island’s main village—lively yet refined, with its stone-paved streets and charming harbor.
Here, if you wish, you can go ashore for a leisurely seafood lunch in a local trattoria, a stroll among the small boutiques, or a refreshing granita with brioche in the shade of maritime pines.
Back on board, we begin the return along Salina’s western coast. Capofaro offers one of the most spectacular views in the archipelago, with terraced vineyards clinging to the cliffside and a solitary white lighthouse overlooking the sea.
We continue along the northern coast of Lipari: the Acquacalda area with its clear waters, the impressive pumice quarries, the bay of Canneto, and finally Monte Rosa, glowing warmly in the sunset.
The tour concludes at the same harbor from which we departed—with your heart full of images, sensations, and the quiet beauty of the sea.
💙 Note: If you’re staying in Salina, the itinerary can also run in reverse. In that case, the stop on land will be in the town of Lipari, where you can explore the historic center, the castle, and local artisan shops.
